of Deck Bird Feeders.
Deck bird feeders are a great way to attract hungry wildlife that much closer, so you can get a front row seat watching your feathered friends enjoy the food you left out for them.
Deck bird feeders can be simply attached to your deck. They are the same size and shape as regular bird feeders. You simply attach a deck hook to the rail of your deck and hang the bird feeder from it.
Deck hooks for deck bird feeders will hold seed or suet feeders or they can even make attractive plant holders for those times when you don't have your feeder out. Not every species will feel comfortable feeding from a deck feeder when you are also out on the deck. So to let all of the shy species enjoy your deck bird feeders, leave it out when you are not on the deck.
As with all bird feeders, you will need to make sure that an excessive amount of seed is not falling to the ground. This may attract rodents or other unwelcomed visitors. If you suspect that rodents are feeding off the dropped seed, the best thing to do is to stop feeding the birds for a while until the rodents stop visiting your garden.
