of Victorian Birdhouse.
A Victorian birdhouse is a bit tongue in cheek, since odds are good that it won’t be standing outside a Victorian human house. None the less they make a great yard decoration and can also be a rewarding thing to create as a hobby. The level of detail available in Victorian houses far exceeds the garden variety birdhouse.
Another excellent use for a Victorian birdhouse is to accent a detailed flower bed. A lush flowerbed is an eye pleasing addition to any yard. Adding a miniature house to the already pleasant space created by flowerbeds can really take the decoration to the next level.
The best thing about Victorian birdhouses is that they aren’t species specific. So long as the house you have in mind has sufficient space within it for the species you want to bring home. Other than overall size, the opening size is the other major factor in which birds will choose to call your Victorian birdhouse home. On the whole, the largest common bird that can fit in a house will take up residence there.
